I have many jobs but the one I'm most passionate about and wish I could do full time is teach Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan. I am also a Registered Nurse and Distributor of Young Living Essential Oils, I believe in wellness but the apparent juxtaposition of wellness and health challenges me daily.

Yoga for all

Sat nam Everyone,
I had the thought that I needed to go on a retreat to reconnect with my spiritual practice, to recommit to my daily Sadhana, to stop eating junk food, etc, you get the idea and this morning as I was bemoaning the fact that I don't have the money for such an endeavor right now, I had a sudden realization that my need to go somewhere else is what's blocking me from reconnecting with my inner being and it's what's stopping me from doing my Sadhana. Sometimes it's the search that obscures us from the truth, it is in seeking that we get lost. So I decided to stop. I got up and did Sadhana, took class with my dear friend and fellow Kundalini teacher, Reina, and haven't eaten anything unhealthy yet today.
That's it. No mystery. No seeking. No doing. Just be.
Sat nam

I like this Trish! Sometimes we feel like we need special permission (in the form of retreats, or classes, or advanced degrees!) when all we need is to DO. Thanks for the post!
